The participation of ASIST in the Cordillera NEXUS at the University of the Cordilleras exemplified the institution's commitment to internationalization and the pursuit of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 4: Quality Education and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.

The first day set the tone for collaborative efforts with the workshop session "Cordillera to the World, Today, and Beyond Synergies for promoting Tawid di Cordillera." The active involvement of Cordillera Heritage 101 authors in preparing a collaborative output for the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) showcased their dedication to elevating the region's heritage on a global platform.

The event also received a boost from CHED CAR Director Demetro Anduyan Jr, who emphasized the importance of unity among Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the region for internationalization. Mr. CD Lee's discussion on the Reskills International Online Learning Platform added a valuable dimension by focusing on student and teacher skill development.

The second day continued the momentum with Ms. Melanie Saro and Dr. Mary Grace Carrido sharing exemplary practices in internationalization from the University of Baguio and Saint Louis University, respectively. Dr. Jimmy Catanes' insightful discussion on Cordillera Internationalization Planning and CHED's vision for HEIs in the international setting provided a strategic perspective.

The ceremonial uploading of "Synergies for Promoting Heritage Education" to WURI marked a significant milestone, reflecting the collective efforts of the Cordi101 Team and the 17 participating HEIs in promoting Cordillera's rich heritage globally.

The election of officers and the establishment of the Cordillera Association of Internationalization Relations Officers (CAIRO) further solidified the commitment to amplify the international presence of the CAR-HEIs. The election of Mr. Patrick Benedito of ASIST as the Public Information Officer and the designation of ASIST International Affairs and Linkages Director Patricia Benedito as Abra-Internationalization Coordinator added leadership strength to the organization.

The two-day event concluded with Dr. Mary Grace Carrido, the elected President of CAIRO, delivering closing remarks. The success of the event not only underscored the commitment to internationalization but also paved the way for continued collaboration, fostering a more robust, united front for Cordillera's representation on the global stage.
