The Gender and Development (GAD) Office through the leadership of ASIST GAD Focal Person, Dr. Rhea A. Quileza, conducted a training-workshop titled “Integrating Gender Perspectives in Policy Formulation towards an Empowered Barangay” on February 4,2024 at Mudiit, Dolores, Abra.

The aim of the said training was to enhance the planning process in barangays by fostering collaboration between local government officials, including the Gender and Development Office, and the education sector. This collaborative approach ensures a more comprehensive planning approach that considers the specific requirements of the community members, with a particular emphasis on gender inclusivity.
