Sumailalim sa onsite assessment ng Policies and Systems Evaluation Division (PSED) ng Civil Service Commission – Cordillera Administrative Region (CSC-CAR) ang Abra State Institute of Science and Technology (ASIST). Ito ay bahagi ng layunin na mapanatili ang kanilang pagiging accredited agency sa ilalim ng Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM).
Pinangunahan nina ASIST President Gregorio T. Turqueza Jr., Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Noel B. Begnalen, Chief Administrative Officer Elizier Lazo, Administrative Office V (HRMO III) Ramelda B. Begnalen at Administrative Officer IV (HRMO II) Karl Ronayne Turqueza ang pagharap sa proseso ng assessment. Nakibahagi rin dito ang mga department/division heads at HRMO staff.
Batay sa CSC Resolution No. 2400180 na may petsang 06 Marso 2024, kinakailangang sumailalim muli sa assessment ang mga ahensyang naging accredited ang status sa ilalim ng dating PRIME-HRM standards. 2013 naging accredited agency ang ASIST.
Agosto noong nakaraang taon, ginawaran ang ASIST ng Certificate of Recognition sa Recruitment, Selection, and Placement (RSP). Abril naman ng kasalukuyang taon, iginawad ang kanilang Certificate of Recognition sa Performance Management (PM).
Ang onsite assessment ang “tell me” part ng assessment, kung saan ikinukuwento at ipinapakita ang mga umiiral na sistema at katibayan na tunay itong isinasagawa at ipinatutupad.
Bahagi rin nito ang records management, kung saan sinuri ang kanilang mga 201 files at ang pagsunod sa iba’t ibang alituntuning ipinatutupad ng CSC.
Labis ang pasasalamat ni President Turqueza. Aniya, ang onsite assessment ay isang collaborative process, at anumang suhestiyon o obserbasyon hinggil sa kanilang mga proseso at sistema ay itinuturing na mahalaga upang higit pa itong mapabuti at maisaayos.
