The Cordillera Consortium for Agriculture, Aquatic and Resources Research and Development (CorCAARRD) under the DOST-funded project, “Upscaling ICT Infrastructure for CorCAARRD,” headed by Project Leader Dr. Paul G. Garcia Jr., officially turned over various ICT equipment and supplies to the Abra State Institute of Science and Technology as one of its collaborating partners.
The turnover ceremony was witnessed by R&D Director Dr. Pablo B. Bose Jr. and AFTIICC Director and Project Focal Person Dr. Nero M. Paderes. The equipment was subsequently transferred to the ASIST Main Information and Communications Technology Unit providing them with state-of-the-art equipment that will significantly strengthen the University’s ICT infrastructure and ensure efficient system maintenance and operations.
This initiative is a testament to the strong support and leadership of ASIST President Dr. Gregorio T. Turqueza Jr. and Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Noel B. Begnalen, whose commitment to advancing technology and innovation continues to drive ASIST forward.
With this milestone, ASIST moves closer to achieving a smarter, more connected, and future-ready University.
