September 6, 2025 — The International Seminar Forum for Pre-Service Teacher Education Students (ISforTED) 2025 began its four-day event with a focus on preparing future educators for the challenges and opportunities of a globalized world. The seminar, held at the College of Teacher Education (CTE), aims to provide pre-service teachers with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the ever-evolving landscape of education. The event was hosted by Dr. Michelle Melinda Alzate.

The first day featured a diverse lineup of speakers from different countries, sharing their expertise on a range of relevant topics. The event commenced with a welcome address from Ms. Patricia A. Benedito, the International Affairs Director. This was followed by Dr. Alexis A. Enriquez, the Project Leader, who presented the rationale for the seminar, emphasizing its importance in a global context. A highlight of the day was the keynote speech delivered by Dr. Pratik Rajan Mungekar from Indonesia, who set the stage for the discussions to follow. The College President, Dr. Gregorio T. Turqueza Jr., also gave a presidential speech, underscoring the institution's commitment to globalizing teacher education.

Following the opening remarks, a series of notable speakers shared their insights. Dr. Nurul Fadhillah from Indonesia discussed “The Future of Teaching in a Globalized World.” Dr. Marian Loren Valera, Dean of CTE Bangued, explored “Global Trends in Teacher Education.” Dr. Josefina A.
