August 12, 2025 – The Faculty of Teacher Education at ASIST Bangued-Campus conducted a seminar to prepare 4th-year students for their upcoming professional placements.
With the theme, "Shaping 21st Century Educators Through Field-Based Instruction," the seminar started with Ms. Hedwig Belmes, Chief Education Supervisor of the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) at DepEd Abra, discussing the Revised K-12 Curriculum. She emphasized the decongestions and key revisions made to the curriculum. Additionally, she presented essential teaching resources, including the Daily Lesson Plan, Daily Lesson Log, and the Lesson Exemplar.
The seminar, in its entirety, provided practical guidance and valuable insights that students will carry with them on their teaching journey. The program concluded with the announcement of the final deployments for the 4th-year students.
It was an informative and empowering event that equipped future educators for their professional roles.
