Two promising first year students from the Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Mathematics (BSED-Math) program proudly represented the college during the 29th Philippine Statistics Quiz – Provincial Elimination, held on October 24, 2025, at the Divine Word College of Bangued. Other participating schools were Divine Word College of Bangued, UA Main Campus & Data Center College of the Philippines with two representatives each.
The participants, Erika Mae T. Asia and Jenniville Q. Magalim, showcased their mathematical and statistical skills in the said competition, under the guidance of their coach, Mr. Reymond Vasquez.
After a rigorous and challenging round of questions, Erika Mae T. Asia secured 2nd place, while Jenniville Q. Magalim earned 5th place.
With her outstanding performance, Erika Mae T. Asia earned the honor to represent the Province of Abra in the upcoming Regional Elimination of the 29th Philippine Statistics Quiz to be held on November 6, 2025, in Baguio City, alongside the first placer from Divine Word College of Bangued.
