𝘉𝘈𝘕𝘎𝘜𝘌𝘋, 𝘈𝘉𝘙𝘈 – In its continuous pursuit in developing the young people in the province of Abra, through its different academic and technical programs, to become productive citizens of the province, the University of Abra (UA) forged a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Organization for Industrial, Spiritual and Cultural Advancement (OISCA) International last October 28, 2022.
OISCA International Vice President, Mr. Yasuaki Nagaishi, OISCA Kansai Training Center Director, Mr. Toshiharu Kiyomizu, OISCA Abra Director, Mr. Delfin Tesoro, and OISCA Abra Coordinator, Mr. Antonio Gandeza, met with UA President, Dr. Gregorio T. Turqueza Jr., International Affairs Office Director, Ms. Patricia A. Benedito, Research and Development Planning Director, Dr. Pablo B. Bose Jr., OISCA Abra Trainees Coordinator, Mr. Aristotle B. Verzola, College of Engineering, Vocational and Industrial Technology Dean, Engr. Orlando A. Lomboy, Vocational and Industrial Technology Chairperson, Ms. Judith V. Casabar, and Bangued Campus Research Coordinator, Mr. Jonathan P. Zales, to finalize and seal the MOA that will provide opportunities for advance education, higher technological and professional instructions and training in different academic and technical programs.
UA has long been a partner of OISCA in human resource development environment protection and enhancement programs. The signed MOA demonstrates the mutual agreement between UA and OISCA to collaborate in training and upgrading language capability in both Japanese and English for future UA professionals who will opt to work in Japan.
OISCA International is a non-government international organization based in Tokyo, Japan with extensive operation and cooperation with different countries in the Asia and other continents. It aims to instill in the minds of the young generation the strong sense of industry and diligence, the inspiring principle and influence of the human spirit, the peaceful co-existence of cultures in the world, and the protection and enhancement of the environment.
