ASIST CEVIT's Basic Training in Electrical Wiring Installation in Quillat, Langiden, Abra
Geared towards providing alternative skills to improve life conditions through livelihood training, the Abra State Institute of Sciences and Technology College of Engineering and Vocational and Industrial Technology (CEVIT) headed by CEVIT Dean, Engr. Orlando A. Lomboy and VIT Chairperson, Prof. Judith A. Casabar together with the VIT faculty, conducted its one-day electrical wiring installation basic course training in Barangay Quillat, Langiden, Abra on July 3, 2022.
169th ASIST Regular Board of Trustees Meeting

The Abra State Institute of Sciences and Technology held its 169th (1st Quarter) Regular Board of Trustees Meeting on June 28, 2022 at the Conference Room of Benguet State University, La Trinidad, Benguet. A hybrid setup was implemented for the meeting where five members of the current BOT Members attended in person while two others joined virtually. Despite of the technical setup, the meeting was a success demonstrated through the approval of all the presented agenda to the Board.
ASIST attends CHED's first masterclass towards internationalization

Realizing its commitment to continuously expand its reach globally, the Abra State Institute of Science and Technology (ASIST) participates in the first-ever masterclass exclusive for Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) of the Cordillera Administrative Region titled, "Flair: Filipino Leaders in Advancing International Reputation" presented by the Commission on Higher Education International Affairs Staff (CHED-IAS) and the Commission on Higher Education CAR (CHED-CAR) through the Academy for Higher Education Faculty Members' Advancement and Development.
CSC-CAR held its Leadership Course in ASIST

Civil Service Commission Cordillera Administrative Region (CSC-CAR) held its leadership course Strategic Leadership for Human Resource Excellence at the Abra State Institute of Sciences and Technology Bangued Campus Social Hall today. The whole-day event aims to further capacitate Human Resource professionals and leaders within CAR to provide service of excellent quality in their respective institutions and agencies, including ASIST. Attendees came from the different provinces and city of CAR: Abra, Benguet, Kalinga, Mt. Province and Baguio City.
ASIST Advocates Mental Health Awareness
ASIST’s has strong commitment in leading as advocates of mental health awareness led the Guidance Office in collaboration with the Students Affairs Services to spearhead a seminar with the theme M.E.N.T.A.L Health Awareness: Managing Emotions Nurturing Thoughts in Advocating Learning participated by student leaders and faculty members held last March 28, 2022 at the FFP Hall,ASIST Main Campus, Lagangilang, Abra with the aim to raise awareness on mental health issues and lessen the impact of stress and depression among students and faculty members.
