In a dedicated effort to address the pressing concerns on rabies and other animal health threats, a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the University of Abra (UA), LGU-Lagangilang, and the Philippine Veterinary Medical Association (PVMA)-CAR Chapter was sealed at the FFP Hall, UA Main Campus, Lagangilang, Abra on November 28, 2023.

Advancing its commitment to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 5: Gender Equality, the UA Management actively participated in the "Seminar-Workshop on Integrating Harmonized Gender and Development Guidelines (HGDG) into Institutional Projects, Activities, and Programs" held on November 16-17, 2023, at Ichthus Resort, Magsingal, Ilocos Sur.

A total of 60 General Administration and Support Services (GASS) personnel of the Abra State Institute of Sciences and Technology (ASIST) Main Campus attended the Capacity Development on Futures Thinking and Strategic Foresight and Spaces Act held at Teacher's Camp, Baguio City on November 28–30, 2023.

University of Abra (UA) La Paz Campus faculty participated in a three-day seminar-workshop on research writing with the theme “AFFIRM: ASIST Faculty Focused on the Internationalization of Research Mandates with Basic Research Writing and Preparation”, at the ASIST Training and Development Center (ATDC), Lagangilang Campus held on November 27-29, 2023.  The invited resource speakers, Prof. Rico C. Jacoba, PhD, DAPT, LPT, and Prof. Jeffrey M. Almazan, PhD, deepened the participants’ understanding of how to write research focused on Social Sciences.

Five representatives from the University of Abra (UA) actively took part in a recently concluded Regional Youth Leaders’ Summit (RYLS), highlighting the university's commitment to well-rounded leadership. Discourse and collaboration among the region's emerging leaders took place at the Panagtipun 2023 RYLS with the theme Cordillera Youth Leaders Unite for Change amidst Challenges, held from  November 17 to 19 at the City of Baguio.
