The Abra State Institute of Sciences and Technology (ASIST) is proud to announce its significant recognition in the 2025 Best Universities rankings by EduRank and UniRank, marking a remarkable stride in its journey towards academic excellence. ASIST has been ranked No. 207 of 229 in the Philippines, No. 5,485 of 5,830 in Asia, and No. 13,271 of 14,131 in the World by EduRank. Concurrently, UniRank, the world's largest university rankings, has recognized, verified, and placed ASIST at No. 226 in the Philippines. These achievements underscore ASIST's unwavering commitment to providing quality education and making a tangible impact.

The ASIST BA Political Science Program is proud to announce its participation in the PPSA 2025 International Conference, currently taking place in Baguio City.

The institution consistently strives for quality and excellence while pursuing quality standards. In recent years, ASIST has obtained ISO certificates for three offices: Library, Guidance, and Registrar. Last May 19-20, 2025, the Quality Assurance Office held an ISO Surveillance Visit by SOCOTEC Philippines Inc. at the ATDC Hall, Main Campus, Lagangilang, Abra. The audit was participated by the top management lead by the President, Dr. Gregorio T. Turqueza Jr., Quality Assurance Office personnel, MIS, Unit Team Leaders, IQA Team Leader, head and personnel of the support services, and head and personnel of the registrar, guidance, and library. The ISO visit is essential for the organization, providing an opportunity to evaluate and strengthen its commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.

The day began with a solemn atmosphere as attendees gathered for the start of the program. The event officially opened with a prayer played via the AVR, followed by the playing of the Philippine National Anthem, also through the AVR, which set a respectful and patriotic tone for the day’s proceedings.

The ASIST Bamboo Project Team actively participated in the Regional Bamboo Meeting/Planning Cum GIS & Drone Mapping, a strategic gathering of CARSUCs (CAR State Universities and Colleges) focused on strengthening technical capacity in GIS and drone technologies to support bamboo resource planning, environmental monitoring, and sustainable development.
