The Cordillera Consortium for Agriculture, Aquatic and Resources Research and Development (CorCAARRD) under the DOST-funded project, “Upscaling ICT Infrastructure for CorCAARRD,” headed by Project Leader Dr. Paul G. Garcia Jr., officially turned over various ICT equipment and supplies to the Abra State Institute of Science and Technology as one of its collaborating partners.

Now on its second year of implementation, following the initial one-year funding support from DOST-CAR, we take pride in sustaining the Fogging System Technology for oyster mushroom production through the ASIST–Agriculture and Food Technology Innovation Incubation and Commercialization Center (AFTIICC). The technology has consistently supported year-round mushroom production, with harvests marketed either as fresh produce or as value-added processed products.

The Department of Science and Technology–Cordillera Administrative Region (DOST-CAR) formally opened the 2025 Regional Science, Technology, and Innovation Week (RSTW) on August 7, 2025, at the Newtown Plaza Hotel in Baguio City.

Sumailalim sa onsite assessment ng Policies and Systems Evaluation Division (PSED) ng Civil Service Commission – Cordillera Administrative Region (CSC-CAR) ang Abra State Institute of Science and Technology (ASIST). Ito ay bahagi ng layunin na mapanatili ang kanilang pagiging accredited agency sa ilalim ng Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM).

The Regional Executive Director of the Department of Agriculture–Cordillera Administrative Region (DA-CAR), Atty. Jennilyn M. Dawayan, together with her team, visited the Agriculture and Food Technology Innovation, Incubation, and Commercialization Center (AFTIICC) at the Abra State Institute of Sciences and Technology, Lagangilang Main Campus.
