The Youth Ambassadors Camp—Luzon, sponsored by the Presidential Communications Office, took place from December 3-5, 2024, at the 456 Le Grande Hotel in Baguio City. Two representatives from the institution joined the camp: Ms. Novy Ann B. Neri, a member of the Technocrat editorial board of the Bangued Campus, and Ms. Emmarie T. Pineda, Student Government President of the Lagangilang Campus. Accompanying them was Dr. Dylan Edward R. Raranga, the Technocrat adviser.

The General Administrative Support Services (GASS), under the leadership of Chief Administrative Officer Mr. Elizier B. Lazo and the efforts of Ms. Lory Mae Del Rosario, who served as the proponent and coordinator, successfully hosted a seminar titled "Innovative Workspaces: Leveraging Technology for Maximum Productivity and Inclusivity" from November 20-22, 2024, in Baguio City. The event was attended by 45 participants from various offices within the GASS Department. The resource speaker, Dr. Engr. Beverly Estephany P. Ferrer, a specialist in the Information Technology industry and a professor at the prestigious Saint Louis University, provided valuable insights on the topic.

The idea of gender sensitivity and gender mainstreaming helps to advance equity and lower the obstacles that gender discrimination creates in both the personal and professional areas. The goal of this program is to help participants understand and address gender stereotypes while encouraging acceptance and compassion for people of all sexes The workshop will provide participants with the necessary tools to address and overcome discriminatory views by emphasizing the fact that gender sensitivity is about promoting mutual respect and understanding rather than dividing people. By taking this strategy, stereotyped generalizations about gender issues will become less relevant, benefiting both men and women and creating a more inclusive and fair society.

The Extension Program titled: From Inquiry to Impact: Unlocking Practical Solutions for Continuous Teaching and Learning Improvement through Action Research in Mathematics was developed to support Department of Education teachers in Abra by helping them strengthen their skills in conducting action research in mathematics. This was reflected as one of the needs of the target clienteles after conducting the needs assessment survey questionnaire for extension program of the Master of Arts in Teaching Mathematics. This extension program primarily aimed to help address concerns on the low performance of the Philippines in National and International Mathematics performance evaluations like NAT, PISA and TIMSS.   The event is aligned with the university’s research thrusts and agenda, and is designed to boost graduate students and DepEd clientele’s participation in research, leading to publication, utilization, and patenting that will be of help in innovating and addressing gaps in the classroom and teaching -learning process. Dr. Jonathan P. Zales, Program Head and Training Coordinator for MAT-Mathematics, then delivered the rationale and opening remarks, highlighting the purpose of the gathering and the importance of the collaboration between the graduate school and the public schools in Abra.

The 14th Regional Symposium and 7th Student Congress, held at Benguet State University from October 14-17, concluded with a series of notable achievements in various categories. Among the winners, Dr. Nero M. Paderes and Dr. Pablo B. Bose, Jr. secured THIRD PLACE in both the Best Paper and Oral Presentation (Professional Level) in the AANR category with their research titled "Stingless Bee Colony Propagation Through Hose Method: Effectiveness and Practicality." This study highlighted innovative methods for propagating stingless bee colonies, thereby contributing valuable insights to the field of apiculture.
