BAGUIO CITY — The Department of the Interior and Local Government - Cordillera Administrative Region (DILG-CAR) is empowering reelected officials with a fresh perspective on public service through its Refresher Course under the Newly-Elected Officials Performing Leadership for Uplifting Service (NEOPLUS) Program. A highlight of the course was the keynote address delivered by the University of Abra (UA) President, Dr. Gregorio T. Turqueza Jr., on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at the Newtown Plaza Hotel.

BAGUIO CITY – The University of Abra (UA) has officially entered a new era of collaboration for the benefit of its students, graduates, and the wider community, following the signing of a landmark Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) on September 16, 2025.

The Asian Society of Researchers, Educators, and Inventors (ASREI), Inc. successfully hosted its 2025 Mid-Year Research Presentation and Workshop on August 29–31, 2025, with the theme “Fostering Integrity and Responsive Education Through Research and the CaRE Toolkit.” The international conference, held via Zoom, gathered students, educators, and researchers from across the country and abroad to present high-quality research outputs while engaging in scholarly discussions on responsible and ethical research practices.

Lagangilang, Abra – The University of Abra (UA) proudly joined the nation in commemorating the 125th Anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service Commission on September 1, 2025, with the theme “Bawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal at Galing para sa Bayan.” The celebration highlighted the vital role of public servants in fostering excellence, integrity, and dedication in government service.

Students from our ICT Department proudly represented the college at AI.DEAS for Impact 2025: AI for Developing Ethical and Applicable Solutions, held last August 28–29, 2025 at the Newtown Plaza Hotel, Baguio City.
